Whats the Hifitopia?

The word hifi is commonly associated with the speaker hobby among audiophiles but in fact Hifitopia does not review speakers (This may change). Hifitopia takes its name from “high fidelity utopia”. This saying, which is essentially about sound, also refers to the fidelity of Hifitopia.

All the text, images and graphics you see on Hifitopia (except for software support) are created and managed by one person. This is the only way to stand behind every word written.

The Mission

Hifitopia’s aim is to provide accurate and reliable independent reviews for readers of all levels. To this end, all reviews, sponsored or not, are based on the principle of trust. Accuracy and readers always come first.

Considerations in Reviews

When it comes to the accuracy of information, there are a number of considerations. These are sometimes methodical and sometimes based on experience.
First of all, all the instruments discussed were heard live. Another consideration is methodical progression. For example, in an iem review, listening is done by changing only one variable at a time, such as tips, cable, source. In this way, which variable creates which effect is clearly determined. Another important consideration is to ensure that the wording is as objective and universal as possible. This may not always be achieved 100% of the time, but care is taken. Another methodical method is to compare what the product offers with what the manufacturer claims.

Hifitopia considers the product’s price, purpose, target audience and use cases. For example, the higher the price of the product, the higher the expectation, which may increase the number of topics in which the product is reviewed.

Most of the time, the scores of the reviewed products are given based on the topics they are reviewed in. Another point in scoring is that the score of the product is given taking into account the review date and price. For this reason, the release date and price are written at the beginning of the review.
